HOW TO BACKUP ALL YOUR BLOG POSTS, COMMENTS, PAGES, CATEGORIES AND TAGS

Hey readers, it’s only fair that I share some of the knowledge that I have gained as a novice in the blogosphere.

The two easy steps to follow in exporting your content to another blog or platform.

1. Go to Tools and
2. Then Export in your WordPress.com dashboard to download an XML file of your blog’s content. This format, which is called a WordPress eXtended RSS or WXR, contains your posts, pages, comments, categories, and tags. (See the screenshots below for further understanding).

Note that this will ONLY export your posts, pages, comments, categories, and tags; uploads and images may need to be manually transferred to the new blog. The current version of the WordPress.org installation gives you the option to import uploaded files.

If the size of an export is sufficiently large, WordPress technicians will process it separately and send you an email message with a download link once the export is complete. The link will contain a download of a .zip file containing multiple files. This ensures the completeness and fastest performance of the export process. Sometimes this approach will be used even for small export requests where the total size of the site being exported from is sufficiently large. The download link will expire after several days, so you should download your export file to a local copy as soon as you receive the link.

If this process is too techy for you, you can just chill out and not bother yourself because;

If your blog is hosted here at WordPress.com, the tech wizards handle all necessary backups. If a very large meteor were to hit all the WordPress.com servers and destroy them beyond repair, all of your data would still be safe and they could have your blog online within a couple of days (after the meteor situation died down, of course).

THESE PEEPS JUST WON’T LET GO OF THE “WHO IS KING BEEF?”

Ahem, yet another diss track has been released bringing the toll to 8 now. The following music artists have readily contributed songs in relation to the beef;

1. Kionjo by Rabbit King Kaka.
2. King Khali and  by Khaligraph Jones.
3. King Khali 2 by Khaligraph Jones.
4. Unruly King by Lil Felly (Lil Fume).
5. No King by Njeri.
6. Lord Forgive Me by Juliani
7. Thiee Ukamiee by Edu Verseman.
8. Gorilla by Rabbit King Kaka.

Verseman’s song is titled Thiee Ukamiee which is a Kikuyu language phrase which has a pretty disgusting meaning that i don’t prefer to delve into. It has the follwing catchy lyrics;

1. Kuringa na accent hiyo ni tabia ya madame.
Verseman hit Khali where it hurts the most, his American accent. Khali is known to be very proud of his accent. He even addresses it in the song Songea at the 2 minute 39 second mark of his 4-minute-long song which you can stream below.
2. Mkono tupu hailambwi hata kama ikona biceps.
This is a clever wordplay on the swahili expression “Mkono mtupu haulambwi” which is used to attack the physical looks of Khaligraph since he is really well built.
3. Kizungu ni ya wazungu ndio maana hii beef inaonja white meat.
This is yet another blow at Khali’s accent which sees the metaphorical beef being converted into realistic white meat and not red meat(real actual beef).
4. Wewe si Khaligraph Jones, wewe ni Khaligraph Joan.
This lyric is in relation to Khali’s accent. Verseman says that since Khaligraph flosses with his European/American accent, then he is indeed a she, hence the name Joan instead of Jones.
5. Mara we ni Yego, Mara Baba Yao, Mr. Embesha, after hii diss si utajiita Verseman.
Khali has a song titled Yego in which he references himself as Julius Yego. He also has a track titled Embesha in which of course he refers to himself as Mr. Embesha which is derived from the mobile money transfer service M-Pesa. In the song’s You Tube description it cleary says, ‘video published on Oct 10, 2014 by Khaligraph Baba Yao Jones’. Verseman suggests that Khali will now call himself Verseman after he hears the track Thiee Ukamiee.

Iggy Azalea is in full album rollout mode for her upcoming LP Digital Distortion, and she’s certainly grabbing headlines in the process. When Iggy visited Bravo’s Watch Happens Live! and was asked about her fellow female rapper Nicki Minaj, things heated up. When Cohen (the host of What Happens Live) asked Iggy about ghostwriting accusations, specifically referring to Nicki Minaj‘s 2014 BET Awards acceptance speech, she didn’t reach for any beverage.
“I have just as many people on my writing credits as she has on hers,” answered Iggy with a shrug. “I know I write mine, and if she writes hers, I believe her too. But you can’t look at the credits and be like, ‘Oh look at this massive difference!’ It’s the same number of people on both.”

Back in 2014 when Nicki accepted the BET Award for Best Female Hip-Hop Artist, she made sure to mention in her acceptance speech that “If you hear Nicki Minaj spit, Nicki Minaj wrote it.” Although Onika followed that up with a “no shade,” many believe that this was a shot at Iggy, who was also nominated in the category that year.
Iggy Azalea has been fielding blows from all sides lately. Earlier this week when she sat down for the J Cruz show, the Aussie MC admitted she had contemplated suicide because of how much the music industry had torn her down in the year after her debut album The New Classic dropped.
“I don’t know, there were times when I wanted to just quit life,” the 25-year-old said on-air. “Sometimes I would drive through the canyons to get to my horses and I would be like what if I just kept driving.”
In reaction to this statement, Iggy’s longtime nemesis Azealia Banks chimed in, calling her a slave master and encouraging her to kill herself. Rough.
Iggy will land herself in trouble with such foul statements.

A BOY AND A GIRL IN A CAR

A policeman drove up lovers’ lane and saw a car there. He walked up to the car, and saw a girl in the back knitting and a boy in the front reading a book. The policeman asked the boy how old he was and what he was doing there. The boy answered,
“I’m reading a book and I’m 25.” Then the cop asked him what the girl was doing and how old she was. The boy replies,
“She’s knitting and she’ll be 16 in about five minutes.”

AVRIL NYAMBURA LOSES HER DAD

My deepest condolences to the celebrated singer and actress Avril who lost her father yesterday. A photo on Instagram uploaded by her had the following caption, “Rest now”. The photo itself read,” Faith in God includes faith in his timing.”
